- 3. Hematuria-: Blood in the urine.
- 4. Frequent urination-: Large cysts can press on the kidneys or ureters.
- Diagnosis♻️
- 1. Imaging tests-: Ultrasound, CT scan, or MRI to visualize the cysts.
- 2. Bosniak classification-: A system to categorize cysts based on their complexity and potential for cancer.
- Treatment♻️
- 1. Monitoring-: Regular imaging tests for simple cysts.
- 2. Surgery-: May be necessary for complex cysts or those causing symptoms.
- 3. Drainage-: Removing fluid from the cyst.
